Legal-Size Sort Modules include 1 shelf every three inches, providing 2-1/2" clearance between shelves. Shelves adjust in 1" increments. Each Shelf has 1/2" label area centered cut-out.

Melamine is a single ply laminate (Kraft paper infused with plastic resin) which is thermally fused to particle board.  We use this for sort module cabinet interiors and exteriors, then add PVC edge banding to the edges.  This type of material is used for surfaces other than work surfaces where there is no impact or activity.

Laminate is 6 to 8 ply Kraft paper with plastic resin covering the paper layers.  We use horizontal grade laminate for table tops and it is applied to particle board at our factory.  This provides a more durable finish for surfaces which will be impacted by activity.
